Qualifications We Look For
Compassionate and Patient Personality
Caregivers should have a genuine desire to help others. Patience, empathy, and kindness are essential when supporting seniors and their families in a home setting.’
Experience in Caregiving or Personal Care
Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is highly valued. However, individuals with strong caregiving instincts and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Strong Communication Skills
Clear and respectful communication is important when working with clients, families, and supervisors. Caregivers must be able to listen carefully and provide updates about a client’s well-being.
Dependability and Professionalism
Families rely on consistent and reliable care. We look for caregivers who are punctual, responsible, and committed to maintaining a professional and respectful environment.
Ability to Assist with Daily Living Activities
Caregivers should be comfortable helping with personal care tasks such as bathing assistance, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, and mobility support.
Basic Health and Safety Awareness
Understanding basic safety practices is important in a home care environment. CPR and First Aid certification are helpful and may be required depending on the role.
Reliable Transportation
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are beneficial for assisting with errands, appointments, and travel between client homes when necessary.
Legal Eligibility to Work in the United States
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete required employment documentation.
